House NOT on fire?

When Sam comes back to Joon's house so that they can leave together (followed by the bus scene), it seemed to obvious that the way Joon placed the burning picture in the sink that the drapes were gonna be one fire. The way the camera panned on the thing, the close-up of the burning picture, the fact that she doesn't watch it burn all seemed to lead to the house of fire.

As you know, the house didn't burn. But I read in the trivia here that they though of having the house burning at the end of the money. That's weird that they kept that panning on the fire in the sink and the drapes since they apparently didn't film or keep the idea of the burning house...

Yeah when my mom and I saw that she thought the house was going to catch on fire too. It could be though they just didn't bother to take that part out during editing once they decided to change the scene.

It burned down in the movie script and the jack in the box looked damaged in the fire when Benny played with it while Joon was in the hospital.
