Thanks Fraiser! :D

I guess my fave is Ian Hart as John. At moments, he sounded like John. Also I love Stephen Dorff. He is one of my fave actors in general but portrayed Stu amazingly!

Hey there!

I have to agree that this is a great film about the Beatles, despite the inaccuracies. It's the closest thing to see what it was like in Hamburg for the Beatles. There's also Birth of the Beatles but it's a passing thing (same with In His Life: John Lennon Story that will be on VH1 Classic soon).

They forgot about Dot Rhone coming to Hamburg with Cynthia during the visit :)

I love Ian Hart in this film- he reprised the John Lennon role in The Hours and Times about the infamous trip to Spain after Julian was born with Brian Epstein.

Wow! They all sound so interesting. I just watched Nowhere Boy for the first time today. It was so intriguing and amazing. I loved it.

I haven't seen Nowhere Boy yet. I don't know if I want to- I heard Cynthia is completely ignored and she did have a strong part in John's early years as a musician.

I actually thought Nowhere Boy was good. The reason they didn;t show Cynthia and even Stu because they didn't focus on John in college. It was just implied he was in college, so none of his college relationships where shown. Despite that, I thought it was awesome!

In His Life? I will give it a watch! Thanks! :D

Yeah, I can pretty much agree with what you're saying about Nowhere Boy. I don't know though.... there was just something about it that made me go "Whoa!".
