Who were the 5 musicians who did the music in the movie "Backbeat". I don't need the actors names but the names of the 5 musicans who played the music. Thanks.

Greg Dulli and Dave Pirner - vocals, Don Fleming and Thurston Moore on guitars, Mike Mills on bass, Dave Grohl on drums.
Fleming and Mills do backing vocals also.
kind of an early 90's dream team..

That's part Soul Asylum, part Sonic Youth , part Foo Fighters .... that is a great mix right there.

They did a live version of songs from the movie, at one of the MTV Movie Awards in the 90's. Their performance rocked the show that night.

I referred to the musicians who played on the soundtrack as "The Backbeatles".
