The Baby of Mâcon can now be viewed on YouTube, at least in the US. It's an excellent upload…clear print, widescreen and uncut (note: the running time is 1h 55m because of PAL speed up). There is no US distributor for this film, never has been and probably never will be. It was put up on YouTube by of all people the producers, Kasanderfilmco, as a gesture of generosity. Gotta give them a lot of credit for not being greedy.

I am very happy to see this. It is generous and I thank the company for putting it online so Americans can watch it.

I hope whoever produced the Tulse Luper Suitcases would follow suit. Why it is so hard to get region 1 copies of a lot of Greenaway's films?
