where would i get this film from on DVD

does anyone know where to get Joshua Tree on dvd in the uk/leeds

You can get it as an import NTSC disc from Artisan Entertainment under the
alternate title "Army Of One". You should be able to locate it somewhere, but I live in Australia and have ordered it off the internet at Amazon.com.
Amazon.co.uk sells it as an Import.

The dvd has a trailer. Worst of all is it's incorrectly framed at 1.33:1 and has really bad 2.0 sound. The film was shot in Super 35 at an approx ratio of 2.35:1. The 1.33:1 version contains a lot of "dead-space" at the top and bottom of the frame and misses a little bit on the left and right.

There are many fans of this film who are trying to push Artisan to release the film on DVD properley. This version will do for now I guess. The worst thing about the DVD, is it doesn't have the original TITLE!

Good luck mate in finding it. It's a good action movie.

Yeah, Artisan are complete dicks for making this a pan and scan only title. It's now OOP and I can only hope that Momentum release a R2 version with OAR and some extras. I DTS 5.1 soundtrack would kick ass!

reply

Yeah, here in US we only get the R-Rated pan n' scan.

I was selling one on eBay. It did not sell. It is the U.S. Version it might be a Multi region dvd. It is Full Screen. email is [email protected]

DVDworldusa.com is where ive seen it

But it's not worth buying because half the picture is hacked off, it has a horribly tinny Dolby 2.0 soundtrack and has the *beep* title of 'Army of One'.
