The score
Stewart Copeland's score was just perfect for Airborne. I pretty much like everything about the movie, but the music is definitely one of the best things about it.

Of course the movie is cheesy, no one is gonna deny that. With that said, apart from the nostalgia, some people find its cheesiness appealing. It's basically good, clean fun. As for the score being generic, it's not the aforementioned composer's most original work but it suites the movie and you can definitely hear some of his trademark sounds (which are very much his own).
