Wednesday's slow smile....
Had me absolutely p!ssing myself with laughter! Besides Joan Cusack's hotness, my favorite thing in this movie. You could tell Wednesday actually had to re-wire her brain just to create that smile. Priceless !!
sharethat's probably my favorite scene of the movie as one of the children watching wednesday's smile grabs a hold of the female summer camp leader and cries out "she's scaring me.". i wonder why this movie is so much more accessible than the first movie, this was the only one available as rental where i watched it, also it's the one i've often come across airing on tv as well, there was also a third addams movie, made for tv i think with a completely different cast except for lurch. i watched this movie dozens of times before i placed where i had seen the daddy of the blonde girl at the summer camp, he was in the "married with children" episode dancing with peggy, i hadn't seen this in years, and was surprised how pretty dark it is (not just picture wise), then i recalled the commentary on the dvd to the old classic series it's based on where they were complaining about that referring to the 1990's movies, at the time i didn't agree and thought they just came off as bitter, but as it turns out i think they're quite right, the series was much more innocent and good fun, this could also be quite family friendly but for a few scenes which i guess just have to be in newer movies...
