I find them about equal--slightly diffrent films to be compared IMHO. Groundhog is a comedy/drama whereas 12:01 is an action/comedy.anyway I like them both about thwe same.I only wish I could see Christmas Every Day again. I know a remake is in the works but even for a tv movie,I liked the original enough.

The suspense/crime plot element makes 12:01 a better movie than Groundhog`s Day, which is just an uninspired romantic "comedy" and a lame-ass morality lecture about becoming a better person or whatever.

I liked the film, but I liked Groundhog Day better.
