Gender Bender - Season 1 Episode 13 - A review

This episode features ankle length navy blue coats; black felt hats; rejuvenating clay; mysterious catacombs; cross dressing; pheromones and a horny alien who can’t keep it in his pants, when he's wearing them.

Mulder and Scully are down on the farm as they investigate the secretive Kindred who seem to be connected to a number of strange deaths. The Kindred are in fact a bunch of aliens with overactive pheromones. And one of their number, Brother Andrew, can't resist doing the wild thing with earthlings. This has the unpleasant side effect of killing the earthling and the bizarre effect of changing the sex of Brother Andrew or Sister Andrea as the case may be.

If not for Mulders timely intervention poor Scully would have lost her virtue followed by her life to the dastardly Brother Andrew who had been keeping his beady little eyes on her. His spooky attentions or perhaps his overpowering pheromones cause Scully to throw up afterwards. Maybe it was the Pepe Le Pew effect. Proving that even aliens don't appreciate being cock blocked Brother Andrew catches up with Scully later and belts her in the chops. This alien is no gentleman.

Then the Kindred decide that Brother Andrew has worn out their welcome and they depart leaving only a crop circle and a lot of quick drying cement behind them.
