No more silly, comedy episodes, but scary!
Last series were either the tired UFO format or silly 'monster' episodes played for laughs.
Hope S11 is scary or creepy- like Tooms or those 3 weird mutant brothers.

The were-human was great!
shareI felt that was the weakest episode by far, for me Babylon was absolute masterpiece, I must have watched it 20 times already just this episode, but certainly the first episode of revival seems like it got me emotionally the most because as many others have said already, it's more like a documentary than a piece of film fiction, all based on truth, I guess that's why it's so chilling and powerful.
shareHow about a sequel to "Folie A Deux"? I for one would welcome an update on that bug monster's exploits.
shareForget it, he doesn't have the capability to underdstand.
shareI agree, I thought the were-monster episode was brilliant. That's the thing about X Files, it can be creepy, gruesome, have comedic eps and stick to their mythology. Plus, it was just one episode. Season 10 was short, but had something for everyone.
As for Babylon, that was the worst episode for me. Maybe it was because of those 2 new useless agents that were introduced.
I love those two new characters for the important reason of being part of the message of the episodes, as some have pointed out without them there would be no episodes the way they are, they represent the gap between arrogance and humility, the gap between different beliefs and ideas influencing our behaviour, it's a symbolism for the division in this world now how people get so easily irritated by different people, beliefs or whatever, the fact they trigger some audience is ironically proving the point of these episodes, their purpose and existence, it always makes me chuckle to see that reaction, without them probably realizing how emotionally used and enslaved they are by the outside influence. Mulder and Scully's actions towards both of them, including the terrorist who is part of the whole message as well, sort of represent the center point where we all can get along at a higher level that goes beyond the beliefs, beyond the left and right, but straight into the center, into our own heart, no matter who we are, no matter what we do or did. How many people are able to love someone who is mean to us, who would be willing to kill us, etc. Yes very powerful episode emphasizing what many of us are going through right now, learning what it means to live with genuine grace for all things in God's creation, both forces of light and dark.
shareYes, please! The were-monster episode was absolute crap.
