Soundtrack question.


So, I've been trying to find this particular song from The X-Files for a while now. It's in the first season, I think the pilot episode (or one of the following episodes). Mulder and Scully are sitting in his car outside of a base (military, I think, maybe a lab) and she's going over some pictures. The music is playing here - it's simple, like a pad or something, and really atmospheric. I can't find it anywhere.

Narrowing it down to a specific episode would help, but it's possible it was simply background music create by Mark Snow for the episode, and not necessarily something that was coming from the car radio or some other outside source.

That's really close! And it is from Deep Throat. The pad/panflute thing is what I was talking about. This may be it!

You are looking for a composition by Mark Snow that hasn't been released commercially yet. All there is out there is bootlegs.
