The first season had a Christmas episode, and in season 3 we see the Christmas tree for a couple of episodes but no other acknowledgement of Christmas except for the animated episode, and the last episode the Hanukkah episode acknowledges Christmas, too.

shareI never watched the animated Christmas special ‘Oy to the world’ at the time. However, all these years later I have just seen it. One thing that dated it, was a joke in which Fran’s animated self was covered in ice, but she managed to thaw herself out by excitedly thinking of Mel Gibson. This of course being a few years before Gibson’s alleged anti Jewish rant. Quite amusingly ironic now.
