How did they film so many episodes?

The fight scenes are lifted from Japanese series, but the scenes with the rangers when they are in normal life still take up a majority of episode running times, so how were they able to film 65 episodes in one year?

Filming everyday and long hours with few takes. The reason three of the original Rangers quit because they were working ridiculous hours and only making about $400 a week, even after the show became a huge cultural phenomenon.
