Couple of questions

Okay so it's been probably 16 years since I last saw this show, and honestly when I did see it a lot of what happened went over my head and I've forgotten a lot of the rest so I was hoping somebody could help me out on a couple questions I have.

1. The Power Rangers' transmitters, they were able to use these to teleport to the Command Center or to where the others are, but would they be able to teleport both themselves AND a non-Ranger to another place? Like if they grabbed hold of another person, would they both teleport out of where they were?

2. The whole basis for the show was the Power Rangers fight evil from other planets, the moon, other galaxies, etc., very black and white, no moral qualms there, but was it ever an issue on the show what the Power Rangers would do with evil in human form? I mean Earth is full of evil in itself, but I never remember that being an issue for them, it was always a monster, an alien, etc, did they ever have to deal with evil humans in a similar way?

reply

1 They did teleport non rangers who were destined to become rangers, so I'm guessing yes.
2 The show was very black and white. No fighting Hitler types. The only example of evil humans were people like Tommy who was corrupted, but in the end, freed from dominance.

In the kingdom of the blind, you're the village idiot.

I was thinking more the run-of-the-mill human threat to life and limb, would they as the Rangers ever fight back against a violent person attacking someone they knew?

reply

There ARE human villains, just non from earth, and being from space, the evil humans from other planets have powers and technology that is undiscovered on earth. Villains like Rita, Scorpina, Divatox, Astronema are examples of these. They're human, but have gained powers or technology that make them more powerful with longer lifespans than humans on earth.

Also, I remember a time when Zedd tried to create his own evil Rangers. He selected a group of punks to have these powers, and they were on board with the whole destroying the world thing (they weren't under a spell like Tommy or Kat were), but after the Rangers stopped Zedd's plans, the punks forgot their brief alliance with him, and later the Rangers made nice with the punks, making them turn over a new leaf.
