A lot of TV shows kids grew up with in the '80s and '90s are getting theatrical releases years later with today's CGI.

Power Rangers is one of them. While this show has continued for many years, most of us are probably most familiar with it when it was Mighty Morphin. We are also probably most familiar with the first Power Ranger cast when they first started, remembering their names but not being able to name the Power Rangers characters since then.

I saw the 1995 Power Rangers movie once at the movie theaters, 20-years ago and enjoyed it, but didn't really care for it. They are working on a movie for next year and while there are few details about it, looking at the instagram picture of the cast it already looks like it will be well-done.

Also, I've heard so many comments about Zach who is black playing the Black Ranger. I didn't really think of it when I was a kid. But, in this movie the black guy will play the Blue Ranger.

As much as I love Sentai, there's just too much nostalgia factor to ignore MMPR.

The suit color/race thing is retarded, the original version had ALL Asians after all, yes even the Yellow Ranger.

I grew up with MMPR, and honestly, I'm not expending them to pander to us fans. This is a reboot for a modern audience, so we are only going for nostalgia. I hope to see some winks and callbacks, but nothing much. Whether it's good or not, I will keep an open mind.
