I just watched the first episode purely out of nostalgia (I'm 26 now and I don't care how sad that is). Was there really 60 episodes in S1?!
I think I must've given up in and around S2. I watched the Power Rangers Movie back in 1995, realised Jason, Trini & Billy were no longer in it, then stopped watching. Good times.
On another note, Thuy Trang's death hit me like a ton of bricks when I found out a few years ago. I went almost 10 years without knowing.
I watched a few episodes and the thing I have the biggest problem with is the cheap production values in the American footage. The PR costumes are baggier and sloppily tailored, and in addition to the ugly costumes, the fight choreography is awkward. I think Amy Jo Johnson is the worst, assuming it was her in-costume in the American footage. I'm amazed that they did so well with Lord Zedd's costume and the throne room set, and the white ranger's American costume was a vast improvement over the green ranger's, who had a baggy, fabric power shield(while the Zyuranger version appears more solid and hard-edged). The early zord battles in season 2 are embarrassing due to the sloppy attempt at splicing the Thunder Megazord into fights that originally involved the original Megazord.
