Goldar and Rito becoming Bulk & Skull's slaves made no sense.

Even though the show was always cheesy, Goldar started off as a serious villain (by the show's standards), he became progressively more goofy after Zedd's takeover, but Zeo takes the cake when he became a full-fledged goofy slapstick character.

But this scenario made no sense! Why would Goldar and Rito have to ask their permission? The were evil sorcerers bent on taking over the world who tried killing the Power Rangers. Why wouldn't they just kill Bulk and Skull, or at least force them to allow them to stay? And why would they have to do chores for them, as if they had the fear of being kicked out of the house - Goldar and Rito are gonna let themselves be kicked out by Bulk and Skull? Really?

Also, huge plot hole: Goldar already knew who Bulk and Skull were - he even personally mentions them in the "Green with Evil" series when he's about to kill them trapped inside the bus; he tells the rangers, "I believe these are friends of yours, you call them Bulk and Skull." Not to mention, since he can spy on the rangers in Angel Grove from Moon Palace, the countless times he saw them interacting with the rangers on numerous occasions. Yet here, they act like they're meeting for the first time. Very sloppy writing!

Yeah, i think you're right
the whole Goldar&Rito thing is just a Carbon Copy of Squatt&Baboo

It Would be Better if Astronema will Hire Goldar insted of Elgar and then Goldar will team up with Ecliptor while he Works for Astronema

You do realize that after the explosion of the Power Chamber, both characters had amnesia, right? That was the reason for their behavior.

In the kingdom of the blind, you're the village idiot.

It seemed obvious to me that they had amnesia. But it still seemed dumb that they were so devoted to Bulk and Skull when they were being treated badly and there was no indication that other humans would be worse. I did like the comic relief in Season 3 that Goldar really hated Rita.

Bulk and Skull treating them so badly was I thought a mistake as in Season 3 they seemed to be becoming better people despite occasionally being lazy or outright cowardly then that was pretty much undone in Zeo.

What made no sense is how Bulk & Skull didn't seem to recognize Goldar & Rito despite having encountered them numerous times beforehand. In a Season 2 episode, they saw Goldar and were like "It's that gold monkey again!"

What also didn't make sense is that in the Zeo episode where Cestro(the Blue Ranger) came to Earth to find Billy, he saw Goldar & Rito with Bulk & Skull, but didn't react upon seeing them nor did he inform the Zeo rangers about them.

Its amazing how people hang around message boards of movies they dont like
