The voice-overs were horrible.

I saw the villain crew at a convention and Kerrigan Manahan (who voiced Goldar) sounds bitter/salty that they cast a new Goldar without him being asked back, he even contemplated that they might hire him as a mentor LOL.

I hate to say it, but the voices were horrible, and could not be any more cliche. They are easily replaceable with other, and much better, voice actors. Lord Zedd and Goldar sound like they have throat cancer. Barbara Goodson as Rita was nauseating. When they hired the Americanized Rita for season 2, they should've just had the new actress (Carla Perez) do the voice, rather than dubbing over an American actress - the only reason they had to dub in the first place is the original Rita was Japanese footage.

But anyway, these are obviously not professional talented voice actors (Billy West, Mel Blanc, Jim Cummings, Frank Welker, Tara Strong, Rob Paulsen...) just people hired at a low salary to do their best impression of an evil, cliche voice.

Make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
