Sex, Lies and Videotape blooper (spoiler alert)

Lois is (loosely) chained to a bed with her mouth covered by a fairly small piece of duct tape (which is barely large enough to cover her luscious lips and clearly flapped over on the end to facilitate removal). With the hidden underside of the bed wired to a large bomb that will explode if Superman unties her, she opts to play a 6 word game of charades with Superman to convey the imminent danger. As Superman begins to guess the words, Lois touches her hand to the tip of her nose to indicate the accuracy of his guesses; Superman then continues unflinchingly to guess the remaining words...

Now, I love the show as much as anybody and desperately regret the decision to abort the once promised 5th year of production for the show but seriously, was this seemingly silly goof an intentional tongue-in-cheek blooper or am I the only one who laughs at the fact that Lois can touch her nose but not remove the duct tape? We are asked to assume many, many leaps of logic in this series but come on people, really? I'm almost thinking this scene was secretly intended to initiate audience fantasies over the smokin' hot Teri Hatcher being chained to a bed rather than having anything to do with a bomb. :)
