When this show from the first season shows (in the titles) Clark rescuing Lois (and some other person, by the looks of it) without his Superman gear showing, shouldn't she know that Clark was Superman from the beginning? The footage surely must be from season 1, but according to WP she doesn't learn it until season 3.
shareThe building was blowing up and Clark made it like they were being thrown from the blast. When they land, he puts them all in a giant mud puddle, just to help sell it. The other person he was saving was Jimmy, by the way.
You also have to also keep in mind the campiness of the show. It's really cheesy. They even address the absurdity that his secret identity is maintained by a pair of glasses.
I personally love the show. I started rewatching it again on DVD and it's a lot of fun. Season One is by far the best. Shea as Luthor is phenomenal and might be the best on-screen portrayal of the character.
