It's a rom com show that happens to have Superman.
That's why it's called Lois and Clark.
Take it on its own terms and it's goofy entertainment.
But I do think this has a better Lex than Gene Hackman.
That's why it's called Lois and Clark.
It's called Lois and Clark as a play on the explorers Lewis and Clark.

I know but I recently tried watching the original series... couldn't sit through it. the obvious padding on George Reeves was just painful and the premise that the world's best newspaper is run by four people was just moronic.

Not enough reason for me to dislike the 50s series. But Dean Cain's Clark is night and day more cleverer than Tom Welling's Clark. It's only in about Season 8 the writers make Clark slightly more intelligent than Homer Simpson. share
