Did anyone notice that the top-billed cast member alternated between Queen Latifah and Kim Coles in every other episode?
If you watch every episode consecutively from beginning to end without skipping the theme song, it says "Starring Queen Latifah," and then "Kim Coles," and vice versa in the following episode. Was that because of bruised egos? I was wondering because that apparently was the reason why Ted Danson and Shelley Long's names appeared simultaneously first in the opening credits of "Cheers" until her demise at the end of the fifth season. Since they both felt that they were the star, the producers compromised by placing "Ted Danson" on the lower left-hand side of the screen, and "Shelley Long" on the upper right-hand side. That way, whether you read the names from left to right (Ted and Shelley) or up to down (Shelley and Ted), they were both top billed.
