...there's a murder on just about EVERY episode of this program? It is SOOOOO predictable. I'd like to see at least one episode in which Mark, Steve, Amanda and Jesse just sit around a table at BBQ Bob's and drink iced tea and eat ribs for 42 minutes.
Maybe once in a while one of them could say something like "Could you hand me some extra napkins?"
Now THAT would be a show worth watching.

i think it could sometimes have had other crimes apart from murder, which would have given it a bit more variety. i used to feel the same about Murder, She Wrote.
shareThere were some episodes that didn't have a murder. I don't have the name of the episode, but it was towards the end of the series. An old friend of Mark's, a woman, who is a famous pianist, comes to stay with him for a few days. It soon becomes apparent that she's not mentally well. As the episode plays out, we learn she's having memory issues, and it's the beginning of Alzheimer's.
