I heard a new series is being discussed with Robbie and Jimmy McGovern.

Does anyone know anymore?

How good would that be!? I would certainly switch on for that..

The show is slated to start filming this summer and ITV will air it in Britain around Christmas. Now if it will only air here in America.

I wouldn't worry about the new movie or special not reaching US shores. I notice how fast UK shows are appearing here in the US. Some stuff from last Christmas have already shown here on PBS or BBC America.

With a show as popular as Cracker, we might see the show shortly after the UK premiere.

Huh? You said that the last installment was rubbish, then said that if it ain't broke don't fix it? Isn't that a contradiction?

I hope at least a special is made, as I agree, the last one is quite crap for a final. It's almost as if it was left open for a next series on purpose.

Sorry for doing this and I know it's a little off topic, but I was wondering if anyone knew the contact details for Jimmy McGovern or his agent. The reason I ask is because I have an idea for an episode of Cracker that I think/hope would be a good story.

I just discovered this series and loved every episode except the one in Hong Kong (it just didn't work). What happened... eleven movies seems like not enough for such an amazing character study. From what I can tell, "Cracker" was a huge hit. Did Robbie just want to move on to other things?

I'd also like to see new Cracker episodes, although I think the 3d season and the 2 specials were not as good as the 2 first seasons.
