I actually was on the verge of tears during the series finale's closing credits.
Keep in mind that B&B premiered the year I started high school, and the finale premiered the year I graduated. So the fact that the bittersweet song "I'll Be Seeing You" played while the closing credits rolled over a photo montage from different episodes, really tugged at the heartstrings. Ironically, I didn't cry at my graduation, and felt free as a bird, "Independence! No more school!" at the time that "South Park" premiered two months after I graduated. But B&B was still running until later that year in November when MTV aired the final episode. So even though I was happy to be sleeping late and making my own rules, just knowing that "South Park" was taking over raunchy TV as B&B was about to have the plug pulled, was a sore reminder that I've entered the real world. No pun intended.
