I have thoroughly enjoyed this show for many years. But I did begin to be annoyed by Jean's fibs which drove many plot points, but seemed to be a real character failing due to their frequency.
Is this a real social circumstance or just "Jean"?
Sorry for late reply, but just came across your post because I was just going to make that same point!!! Also, for 'just two people' who were supposedly sooo in love, she is so critical of him, I find it also somewhat tedious and annoying.
