She was my favorite character on the show as a kid and always hoped there would be a Rita and Runt segment on every episode I watched.
I had a crush on Minerva Mink too but to a lesser extent since she did not appear that much.
There'll always be a place in my heart for Bernadette, be it as an animated cat form or otherwise.
shareBig crush on Rita. Sassy, flirty, and her song segments were just the best. But not only that but Rita and Runt have the most thought out relationship out of the other characters. As far as 8 minute cartoon segments go, but the "How Rita Met Runt" episode says it all. And that's why she's so appealing because, as The Wolf would put it, she's not just a character but she has character.

after saeeing her in the 1979/1980 Steve martin film The Jerk.
If I had to be 'enamored' of a female toon on the show ,it'd be Minerva.
(But I don't think of cartoon characters that way.)
