'Hey Sandy' lyrics revealed by DVD closed captions

Hi,

I picked up this hint from the Pete & Pete reunion streamed video. I've always read that people think the DVD releases were lacking in image quality and some extras (not to mention of course that Season 3 was cancelled), but also that there are no subtitles, and some of the dialogue (Artie's garbled speech) and slang is hard to make out.

Well, there are no regular subtitles on the DVD ... but there are closed captions for the hearing impaired! These can be revealed on some TV sets, but also on some PC media players. I use VLC (Choose Video -> Subtitles Track -> Closed captions 1), or Subtitles on Windows Media Player.

It turns out they also reveal the 'Hey Sandy' lyrics. They read:

"Hey, smilin' strange
You're lookin' happily deranged
Can you settle to shoot me
Or have you picked your target yet?"

It's also great for finding out what the hell Little Pete is swearing about all the time!
