Ok so i will spare you the big long drivelled drawn out thing here but my friend Painty Fertadagalooosh is from around the area and he said the ordering of the take out food on Rob Lowes phone when they were all at his apartment up there on the thing he was not speaking english and it was just jibberesh except for the Mountain Dew Pepsi Co TIE FOYED SAL LONG CHO!
Perhaps. I've often found myself ordering food late at night, and many times I have thought the woman voice taking my food order was sexy. What is the policy on asking out the person on the other end of the phone taking your order at 3 am when you've had 12 beers?
Well Bucky...I used to phone a private cab firm with this exact question to it and I'm not proud of the outcome.
Around three or four times a week I'd phone a taxi fairly late at night and the person answering the phone was always the same. She had a lovely voice and I could see why she was chosen for the job and so after a few months I asked her out for a date which she was happy to meet up for.
This is well before the Internet or any of that Twitter nonsense and so we had to describe ourselves to each other and what we'd be wearing.
Well, needless to say I used some caution and brought a backpack with my agreed upon clothes with me and walked past the area at the time we had arranged upon.
On the flip side she was on time but on the reality side she would never have been a person I would have went after in a sexual capacity.
I kept on walking.
And so, to answer your question, don't ask out that automated voice because it might not look like you imagine it will and you will have a bit of self loathing in you for the rest of your days for being a dick and wasting someone's time.
To add, I never ordered a taxi from that firm again. Even though they were very good.
Yes, dating before twitter, and match, and tinder and all that crap.... Was quite different. You actually had to talk to someone face to face.
After talking with someone online for months, I drove half way across the city, sat down, had one drink with her and decided there was no connection and made up an excuse to leave.
On the other hand, I have had my share of rejection as well.
But I never thought of actually asking the voice out. You have guts sir!
I only used computer dating once (remember LavaLife) and it didn't go to tell.
The only time I have used the internet for dating is Facebook to re connect with ex girlfriends. But I agree.
Most women are tired of losers they meet through apps, I find just going up to someone and saying, hey you're cute, or you have nice eyes, works better. Sometimes people don't want to be bothered which is fine, but giving someone an honest compliment can work too.
