Who else got this at McDonald's back in the day?
I remember getting this movie and Dances with Wolves at McDonald's back in the day (1993?). I must have been 5 or 6 years old and I watched the VHS so much it literally wore out, LOL!

shareHell yeah, I got Dances With Wolves. Parents wouldn't let me get wayne's world at the time, lol.

Yes! I was 6 or 7 as well. My mom got 'Ghost'.
shareI've gotten The Addams Family, Dances With Wolves, and Ghost. In all honesty, I forgot the purpose why McDonald's were selling these selected VHS titles. I can kind of understand a dinner and a movie but....I don't really think of fast food acceptable as a dinner part of it haha!
"Hail to the King, Baby!"
I kind of remember that.
shareThey sold the Indiana Jones trilogy as well - I only know this because my grandmother had them in her VHS collection and would always mention that she got them from McDonald's. I was never allowed to watch Temple of Doom until I was old enough.

What Would Gibson Do?
I remember it as well. I got Back to the Future from there. I think it was 5 bucks?
shareMy parents got this and Charlotte's Web from McDonald's. I was three when they got it and literally watched this movie five-eight times a week from ages three to seven.
shareNot me. I noticed a few paramount movies getting shipped to mcdonalds back in the day such as Ghost and The Addams Family.
shareHa ha! "Back in the day?" I remember playing in my own bands in the era this was set in the eighties.
shareI had Wayne's World, The Addams Family, and Charlotte's Web. Do you guys remember the intro with George Takei on the deck of the Enterprise?
shareOh yeah! I still have my copy somewhere in the garage.
"Don't tell me your little problems son, all I'm interested in is results."
Yeah - I recall getting the VHS from McDonald's.
It's good that I misunderstood Alice Cooper's lyrics, thinking I heard "Feeble mind, Frankenstein." I saved myself and my parents from a conversation, at the age of 10.
Just imagine, they could have a kids movie as the new "toy" for the month and sell a new one like every week.
