Who else got this at McDonald's back in the day?
I remember getting this movie and Dances with Wolves at McDonald's back in the day (1993?). I must have been 5 or 6 years old and I watched the VHS so much it literally wore out, LOL!

shareI got it along with Field of Dreams.
"Hogs have futures, I don't."
Dr. Johnny Fever
Do you remember what other movies they offered?
shareNot really. Those were the only two that caught my eye.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Field of dreams were there too.
shareThey also offered The Addams Family and Ghost, both of which my parents bought back when I was also about 5. They still own both VHS tapes as far as I know. They didn't buy Wayne's World, unfortunately.
shareI didn't get it from McDonalds, but I got the VHS for Christmas of 1992 (along with Batman Returns) and for a good five years, I watched it a few times per week. No joke.
Since my family had no cable and only a handful of movies to choose from (Batman, Batman Returns, Home Alone, Jurassic Park and, of course, Wayne's World), I have pretty much memorized this movie word for word from front to back.

So Say Goodnight To The Bad Guy!!!!!!!
Got mine at McDonald's. I even remember being in the car at the drive-thru and them asking if I wanted to buy it. Of f-ing course I did, so yeah. Still have it somewhere too. I tossed out a ton of old VHS a few years back, but I kept this one, I do remember that. I just don't know what box it's in.
shareMy sister got it from McDonalds sometime around late '93 or early '94. I was 3. By April 1994, I was singing the Wayne's World theme song enthusiastically in home movies. I was hooked by April 1994 and continued to be for about four years more!!
Wore out that VHS tape, it was probably the defining movie of my early childhood.
Wtf?!?! McDonalds sold VHS's???
Lucca Brasi sleeps with the fishes!!!
