Man I'm glad I grew up in a generation that actually had a sense of humor and not in one that's a bunch of cynical know-it-all dumbasses who are impossible to please, because they have the attention span of a turd.
shareI remember watching this movie back in the day, hoping it would be funny because it was so popular. The movie was filled with pop culture references, all making a desperate attempt to be funny, and yet failing every time. Pretty much the only kinda funny scene was Robert Patrick as the Terminator asking for John Connor.

shareSometimes I think of myself as a thoughtful and wise arbiter of what should be regarded as Art, and all the dreck is condemned.
Then there are movies like Wayne, Animal House, Airplane!, and I've gotta toss my pretense aside and laugh at how goofy it all is.
I'm not one for dumb humor, you really have to win me over, and Wayne's World won me over. Dumb and Dumber, not so much, but WW gets a Thumbs Up from me.
