Funnier than Time Cop

I mean, Time Cop is hilarious, but this movie has the 'curse of Dolph', so it's even funnier. Ear-collecting insane dead vet that's brought back to life, so he's simultaneously dead and alive... I mean, just the premise is ridiculously funny.

The only thing that would make this funnier, would be if Robocop would suddenly appear and say 'dead or alive, you're coming with me', then Dolph would say something like 'I am dead AND alive, so now what', and that would scramble Robocop's logic circuits and make him malfunction.

Van Damme's typically wooden, árse-bearing, ballet-split-doing performance is also comical, and the ending is just pure comedy.

Too bad they don't make comedies like this anymore, it's fun to laugh for a change.
