this film is personally jean claude van dammes best he pertrays his character brilliently dolph ludgren isant bad too he can act brillient and this film sure shows he has it. the story is great the effects are great and the props are great. there is really nothing bad to say about universal soldier however ive heard about the second one getting bad reviews but it aint gonna stop me waching it.

Only 5.5/10 here on IMDB, really a joke! I think it's a 8/10. 10 years ago I would rate it as 9/10. It's a really good movie with real action stars.

The stars from the old era is alot better I think; Arnold, Van-Dame, Lungren and Stallone + many more!

tell me about it ther're far more exciting than shia labeof and mat dammon who get all the awards and achievments for being just new action stars.
