Who saw this movie in the theatres in 1992?
Obviously I didn't because I wasn't born before 1992 but I would have loved to have seen it in the theatre back in the day!

shareI did. I was starting college and it seemed like the thing to do.
Man, did I have a lot to learn.
Yeah . I think this was the last 'ok' van damme film . I was 13 at the time so my mother took me . Everything else jcvd did after this was a waste of time . Oh , there were a few scenes in 'maximum risk ' with Natasha hendstridge that I never get sick of.
shareI did, it came out the summer that I'd just graduated High School. I remember getting a flat tire on the way home and having to call my parents, who were pissed at me lol.
shareI watched quite a few movies in the theater in 1992 because that's the year I got my driver's license (had to drive at least a half hour to get to the nearest theater of any kind, and 45 minutes to get to the nearest first-run theater), and Universal Soldier was one of the most memorable ones (My Cousin Vinny being the other most memorable one).
These days it is easy to recreate the movie theater experience at home though (unlike in 1992), without the annoyances that are usually part of it. Just get a good quality 1080p projector, a 100 or 120-inch screen, a Blu-ray player, and sit about 10 to 15 feet away from the screen. A 1080p Blu-ray has about the same picture quality as a theatrical 35mm film print. I just watched Universal Soldier on my projector tonight and it was every bit as good as seeing it in the theater 26 years ago.
I certainly did.
Oh, to be young and 20 again!
