'Best Worst Movie' on Netflix

Interesting current-day documentary about Troll 2. Worth watching.

I got the impression the Italian producer was rather clueless about it being considered the worst movie, as he meant it to have a serious message. Also, it seemed he tried to make an "All-American" movie, while not understanding the American culture (nor English) very much at all.

I just watched this last night. I had never seen troll 2 before in spite of having already seen EVER SINGLE episode of MST3k, twice! After watching The Worst Best Movie on Netlfix last night I decided to watch Troll 2 today. I had no idea what I had been missing out on this whole time.

Next I'm going to watch Troll 2 in HD on Rifftrax with HD RIFFS. Should be fun.

I'd seen Troll 2 and laughed and laughed. Until seeing Best Worst Movie I had no idea!

I laughed because it seemed as though the director thought all those people were at the screenings because they genuinely liked the movie, not because they liked making fun of it. He was an absolute moron and after seeing that documentary, I find it easier to understand why it turned out so bad.

The dad from the movie (the dentist) seemed like a really cool dude though, which was surprising, because he came off as a total loser in the movie.

It's weird that this documentary is on Netflix, but the movie itself is not. I found enough clips on youtube to piece the basic storyline together.

Not to sound dumb here, but when I read the description on Netflix, I though the documentary was about bad movies in general, not just one specific movie.

I thought the same thing when I read the description! I was confused at the beginning, but now I'm curious. I'll probably check out the movie sometime. Haha
