For me, I caught it on the "This" network a few years back, when most of their programming was old horror films. It was quite the experience, haha.
How did you learn about this movie?
I have a friend who insisted we watch it a year or so back. She said it was one of those movies that's so bad it's good. I happen to agree.

sharesaw it in high school (so probably '94-95.. my friends dad always found these ridiculous horror movies like Evil Dead 2, Chopping Mall, Student Bodies, etc
it's just so bad, the plot is dumb to start with, most of the dialog was obviously translated from Italian to English, the acting is horrendous, the special effects are worse than a Troma movie
but the Holly Dance is totally worth it lol
I watched it on HBO back in the early '90s as a 12 year old and it was so hilarious it stuck with me!
shareI saw it a few years ago, but I knew about it 10 years ago or so. I saw to the right of some youtube video I was watching said "worst scenes from a movie ever" or something and I was intrigued. And the scene was the "They're eating her.....and then they're gonna eat me. OHHH MMYYY GOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDD" I dunno how often I would quote that but I never actually took the minimal effort required to watch it until a few years ago. And when I finally did, it didn't disappoint. So many just awesomely bad scenes to choose from, it's great. I think it's about time for another viewing, this time maybe making a party out of it.

Some new classmates I had just met invited me back to their place after the annual social event for our course.
When we sat down on their couch they decided "Let's watch Troll 2" I said "Troll 2, what's that?", they told me to wait and see. "I've not seen the first one though does that matter?" I asked. They laughed and made it clear that it really does not matter, at all. First thing I said when the film started "Wait.. why's it just starting in the middle? I'd rather watch it from the start". I didn't realise right away that that is ACTUALLY how the film starts hahaha.
I'd seen cosmicly bad clips, but only learned they were from Troll 2 today from HitB webshow.
