Could Sly Stallone be so hard up for cash, that he has to make a sequel to the 1992 bomb?

Well yes and no, hard to believe that sly is writing, directing and producing a sequel, the one redeeming feature is that he will not appear in the film. The title role has been given to Sean Astin and the mother will be played by Diane Keaton.

The script has been written and is more a remake as sly believes he can make the film a hit, more than what the first film deserved to be.

Pre-production will start as early as May, with a mid 2007 release. Remember you heard it here first!!

I think Stalone would do at least as well (and probably NO worse) making a sequel of this as he would playing Rocky at SIXTY.

It's going to be pretty hard to pull off a sequel based on a poorly made fake poster called "Stop! Or My Mom Will Keep[/] Shoot[b]ing" esp. when all the new words look fake.
