I think Balthazar Getty has a short walk-on at the second murder scene, when the killer wrote on the ceiling. Rutger Hauer is outside the building, lots of other police are walking by. A guy in a leather jacket looks straight at Hauer. Pretty sure it's Getty. Did anyone else spot that?

He didn't have any lines, so he wouldn't be listed. Have you seen the movie? He looks exactly like Balthazar Getty in Lost Highway. Same clothes and hairstyle. The only thing is that Split Second was made about 5 years earlier.

This was before he really became a known actor, I think. He may have just been hired as an extra. There were many other extras in the scene, but he was in the foreground and looked right at Rutger Hauer.
