I guess the end was the best for me-- the resolution.
What part did ya'll like the best?
On a side note: I love how Plummer acted out Johnson's change in character. He got more serious at the end.. especially when he asked the guy at the Detention Center for Boys(or whatever it was) if he would help him see his son. Very appropriate, temper-free, yet desperate at the same time..
I'm not a control freak, I just like things my way
I like the scene where J-Rock is first seen as a young boy, he keeps his pants under his matress to press them, then carefully gets dressed. It shows his appearence as meticulous, in stark contrast to his home...there was nothing in the fridge to eat but a pot of beans. Then he steals money from his mother's boyfriend. It was a really well done scene, very consistent with the whole movie. Gritty.
I like the part where early on in the movie after Bobby gets out of prison, they are having the Deuce meeting on some rooftop. Ray Ray is the one that is talking and he says something like how the Deuce's are growing and reaching the number of thousands.
Then he finally makes this awesome hand motion by doing the Deuce sign with his left hand, then he brings over his right arm and makes a fist motion and points it the the other way. And then his face changes from smiling to a solid mean look and he says: "Control 'ya hood".
After that scene I was in shock at the sheer awesomeness of his mad OG'ness.
How much is this party gonna cost mama. Nothing baby it's on the state! Pull over LAPD! Yeah getting busted in the backseat with a baby and no car seat, super set up.
IMDB as of late, sold out and became like City Data and about.com, worthless bureaucrats.
