Is the book better than the film?, i sure hope so. because apart from Brian krause it sucked...
shareThere's no book. King wrote the screenplay pretty much as an original material (even though I heard he reworked an aborted project).
Probably, with a novel, he may have been able to get a better result, thanks to his style, even though some scenes are just freakin' stupid: above all, the deputy stabbed with corn...that's just retarded, especially considering that it takes place in a damn kitchen, surely filled with sharp tools...
