cheers wirthmylove!! im now wondering if clovis is actually supermans cat!! maybe he escaped from krypton with superman but as they entered earth atmosphere they were seperated and ended up in differant part of usa! and while clark kent went on to don daft pants and an unnecessary cape...good old clovis thought fck that for a laugh and wanders around purposefully fighting crime left right and centre!! and with the help of a good woman (mrs clovis), he managed to settle down on our little planet...keeping his true identity carfully hidden away......

yeah clovis is sooo 'the cat'! i met him a couple of years ago at the premier of cats and dogs!! he was there with stephen king and and some kitten that was definately not mrs clovis! he seemed relaxed and talkative...kind of disinterested though and was disappearing to the toilet every ten minutes or so!!! he had a terrible cold....constanly sniffing!!!!! and appeared a little more arrogant than i remember him!!!! slagging off co stars from various projects!!! clark kent doesnt even speak to him anymore!!! its a sad affair but i guess the publicity....y'know!!!...it can affect you!

shareim not sure about this toonsis character!! for start i never heard of him!! i guess he is well known in america??? and besides clovis is very picky about who he works with these days!!i mean .....hes kind of ruthless in and outside of the force!! and while his old buddy and parntner from sleepwalkers is living on state handouts and dry bread, good old clovis has all the plusses in life and takes advantage of every damn one!....
ps....most clovis autographs are fake coz he pays other cats to do them and nobady ever knows!!

never heard of triumph either!!sorry! i think a sequel should be on the cards sooner or later!! i mean hey! clovis aint gettin any younger!! i think hes also in consideration as harrison fords eager sidekick in the next indiana jones movie.!! he gets to run around droping his hat then picking it up again all the while delivering some of the wittiest one liners youll ever hear......hes been away from the big screen too long!! dont call it a comeback baby!!

i had no idea about the popularity of clovis either! i just watched sleepwalkers for the first time in years the other day and was blown away by the sheer magnetism of the cat which obviously passed me buy when i was a kid! he really tears into his performance with a subtle menace and distinguished presence that many of his human counterparts at the top of their game have yet to equal! how does a cat learn all those lines???? and his posture!! marvelous!
i think the cult of clovis sounds great but its worth pointing out that in england we have a bread company called clovis that make 'clovis'bread(obviosly) and it may mean people think they're off to spent 90 minutes discussing the pro's and cons off complex carbohydrates comared to that of say....the granary bap!
