Why did the car change back to the Trans Am?

Seems kind of dumb to turn back to the type of car every cop in town is looking for.

I presumed because he was dying he couldn't keep up the illusion and so the car was revealed as it actually was. I thought that was obvious, no?

Sometimes, baby bison die.

reply

He wasn't dying when he was on the date in the cemetary. That's when the car turned back and the cop/clovis noticed it parked there.

reply

I don't think he changed it back on purpose, the illusion probably just wears off after a while...

reply

Oh yeah, maybe you're right. And he was probably too distracted by his hot date to realize. Good point.

reply

I thought the car had changed back because he was nowhere nearby the car, and therefore the illusion wore off because he had to be very close to it for it to work?

reply

If that'd been the case, then why was his mother able to turn the car invisible from within the house?

reply

I guess the magic expired like a bag of chips. Reason why I compare it to chips, is that is all the movie is worth.

B-movies fear me, I am Canadian

She was only standing a few feet away from the car in the house whereas charles was much further away from his car in the graveyard.
