Sister Act The Musical!

Went to see the new musical "Sister Act" at the Pasadena Playhouse this past weekend, if you are a fan of the movie you will enjoy the musical stage production. it stars Dawnn Lewis (a different world, hangin' with mr. cooper) as Delores (Whoopie's role) and boy can she sing! lots of new songs follow the same story line as the movie with just a few changes. i was a little disappointed that the songs from the movie were not there, but some of the new music is really good! also thought they cast the other characters perfectly. mother superior and 3 other nuns -the fat one, the old one & the young one are hilarious!
The play runs through December here in Pasadena, Calif. then goes to Atlanta in January.

I'm working on the production here in Atlanta. The creative team has changed some of the stuff and added 2 new songs!
From what I can tell our production is bigger and better than it was in Pasadena. Can't wait to see what happens to it from here.
