Little Shop of Horrors? What does that have to do with it? And I hope that last bit is just your special signature......I would hate to think you would confuse Rocky Horror Picture Show with Little Shop of Horrors....

Just because you're hung like a moose doesn't mean you have to be a porn star!

reply

haha yea it is my signature, wow thats an old one. and i know both, well :-p

I'm letting you have shotgun. But cuz it's cuz only 'cuz I'm goin' inside.

reply

Its not her (Wendy Makkena) real voice. I have the soundtrack and it says that the voice of Sister Mary Robert (Wendy Makkena) is Andrea Robinson.

reply

No it's not her voice

reply

If you look on the credits it says the voice of Sister Mary Robert is done by Angela someone or other.

I think you're looking at the lyrics from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

reply

I think it's great though that the voice matches Wendy's! Which makes it slightly more realistic, for me anyway. =)

But Mary Robert's solos 'made' the film for me, it was ace. Classic film

reply

You would think they would cast someone who could really sing the part.

lift up your head wash of that mascara, here take my kleenex wipe that lipstick away. Everybody be cool! You! BE COOL!

Wendy Makkena's voice is golden even in real life. It sounds so soft and sweet :-)

I loved Wendy Makenna in this film. I also loved her recurring role on the first season of NYPD BLUE, which was nothing like Sister Mary Robert.

reply

If I remember correctly, in the background information on the DVD, Wendy, who does sing in real life, was originally goign to sing the part herself ont he sountrack. In the end, I don't think her voice was strong enough, so the producers decided to dub her. In the end, all her singing was sung by a different woman.

not her voice, it was Andrea robsons :)

Who? who is but the form, following the function of what, and what I am, is a man in a mask! 'V'

reply

I have never heard her sing? Where can I find some of her songs. I looked it up once and Andrea Robinson who does Mary Robert's vocals is black and since Whoopi is black it would take away from Whoopi's character to have 2 black nuns in the story.

I agree though. I love other roles that Wendy has done. That one show that was cancelled on CBS, the one where she played Jason Alexander's (Seinfeld)wife. I liked that show.
