Doesn't this movie want to make you become a nun?
I mean seriously! I don't know why though, it just does! I'm gonna join the convent now!
Did you just accuse me of being skillful and delicious?

lmao! hahahaha... not sure it would be as fun as they make it look, but hey, worth a try, spice it up a little :P

That's why it's a vocation. It's not for everyone, just as the diaconate, the priesthood, marriage, and single life are not for everyone. Each to their own calling. You really shouldn't talk poorly of a calling, just because it's different from yours.
shareThere's a similar thread on the The Trouble With Angels board here. I can understand that one more, because in the end the main character comes to see how enriching the life can be. (It helped that they were in some beautifully scenic surroundings and not the inner city.)
Plus Rosalind Russell's character conveyed more of the inner joy of Sisterhood (once you got to know her) more than Maggie Smith's character did.
"Well, for once the rich white man is in control!" C. M. Burns
I can't be a nun (I'm a guy) but I've often pondered what a clerical life for me would be like and it lasts for about 5 seconds. The dedication of these people amaze me. But the movie did add a lot of fun to it.
