After the genius of this movie, I thought why wouldn't the director done a lot more. He must've been in huge demand, but then on his IMDB record, it showed he died in 1993. Anyone know more about Emile Ardolino?

shareAll I know about Emile is that he always wanted to work with Bette Midler and when she turned down Sister Act he was determined to get her into one of his films and in 1993 he finally got her to agree to do Gypsy, but he died during the filming of it, he only got to work with her on some of the film, the film was finished with a different director and a tribute at the end of the film is shown.
