uhh...seriously, guys. haven't you all noticed how a lot of Cstholics have ill feelings toward nuns? particularly if they were taught by nuns, who have a rep of being very harsh.
HAHA! poetessbynight you are right on the ball there! i went to a strict catholic school where we had nuns for teachers. whenever we didn't finish our homework we got the cane. it gets worse so just be glad you young people don't have to endure that today.
Back in the early 60's my 2 year old brother was taken to a catholic hospital. My mother didn't want to leave him there overnight alone so she decided to stay overnight as well. Well she was "informed" that after visiting hours were over, she too, would have to leave. When my mother resisted, they told her the Mother Superior would throw her out in the street at 2am if necessary. "And what are you going to do on the street at 2AM?", she qouted them as saying to her. My mother thought me that nuns were the worst kind of bit/ches.
Yep, I went to catholic school from grade 7 to 8. I chose to go to catholic school, and I had many choices of schools, though it was down to 2 because they taught in French. One was close, pretty much a normal looking high school, and the other was a little farther...and the principal was a nun! The other school was also more strict, and I heard rumours that they would try and keep a reputation and shoosh any bad things that would happen there. So the easy choice, I went to the one without the nun lol! Of course my mother also told me that nuns can be pretty mean to people.
