How many bloody remakes of the 80's+90's do we have to take??
It is getting really stupid and Hollywood seem to be running out of ideas
Probably with The Rock in the lead. It's the idiots who pay the admission to watch these. Will not get a penny off me when all I have to do is watch the far superior originals. Getting tired of these remakes. We need original ideas. Going backwards is most irregular. It does not matter if the film is bad or good. What is done is done. Period. Hollywood must stop milking out other films and do something original at once. I had enough of their antics.

I have read that at least seem half original which is good!
I mean they killed 80's remakes:Karate kid,Total Recall,Red Dawn,Conan the barbarian,Footloose,Robocop,21 jump street TV show turned in to 2 films etc
I have also read that they are doing remakes of other 80's classics:Flight of the navigator,Childsplay, Short Circuit,Gremlins,
on to the 90's Heard that The Craft, Scream films being made into a TV show,She's all that, Drop dead Fred,Cliffhanger,etc

Not only that they are doing a remake of Big Trouble in Little China and Kickboxer. I think Hollywood is lacking originality right now, and to make up for it they are releasing all these remakes. I think it is pretty shameful. They are good attempts to reach a younger audience, but nothing can beat the classics. In the movies right now, there is too much emphasis on effects like 3-D and CGI, and not enough emphasis on original plot lines.

oh Yea i knew bout Big Trouble in little China and Kickboxer it is shameful, next they will remake Back To The Future trilogy it wouldn't surprise me
and back in the 80's when CGI came out it was used when it was needed and didn't detract from many films we have now like Tron,Young Sherlock Holmes,Willow,The Abyss,Blade Runner,
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan,Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home,The Last Starfighter,
Flight Of The Navigator,Captain Power and TV show]the Soldiers of the Future, etc
