sorry but u guys... was that real fur and mink in the beginning of the movie?????

I would presume so; Hollywood (the megamachine as opposed to individuals) wan't highly concerned with "fur rights" at that time.

In my own opinion, it was probably a prop, just like they would show fake diamonds. The camera can't tell the difference.

The purple mink coat looked fake. Delors' fox coat was probably real.

Could be. You never know what they have lying around in those wardrobe warehouses.
